❓ Do I need a Ugandan student visa?
No. Since all DOIM programmes are delivered 100% online, no visa or travel is required — study from your home country.
❓ What entry pathways exist for international students?
International students with A-Level qualifications or a recognised equivalent are eligible for direct entry into Bachelor's or Diploma programmes. Those without A-Level qualifications first complete the DOIM Higher Education Certificate (HEC) bridging programme. International postgraduate applicants holding an accredited Bachelor's degree are eligible for Master's and Postgraduate Diploma programmes.
❓ How are international qualifications assessed?
All international qualifications are assessed on an individual basis by the DOIM Admissions Committee in accordance with established academic equivalency frameworks.
❓ Is support available for international students?
Yes. A dedicated International Admissions Officer guides applicants through the process, and an online orientation programme runs at the start of each semester. Academic advising, digital library access, technical support and counselling are available through the same digital channels used by domestic students.
❓ What language are programmes delivered in?
All official DOIM communications, academic materials, and student interactions are conducted in English.
